FG to inveil National Value Charter for national unity and to have ground for all Nigerians.

Federal Government is set to unveil National Value Charter to strengthen unity among the diverse People of the Country and to have a common ground where Nigerians should have a collective voice towards an issue.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idriss Malagi stated this at the ongoing Quarterly Strategy Meeting of the Commissioners for Information of APC Governed States at the Multipurpose hall of the Borno State Government house, Maiduguri.
The meeting which has a theme “One Message one Future” will be conducted for two (2) days where deliberations are made to adopt a strategies and resolutions partaining good governance, fulfilling campaign promises and dividends of democracy as well.
Alhaji Mohammed Idriss Malagi said President Bola Ahmed Tinibu shall soon unveil the National Value Charter to counter the narratives that Nigerian government was supporting a genocide against a certain religion including a limited or no freedom of religion.
He explained that the Renewed Hope mantra of the present dispensation was already yielding positive impact due to the repositioning of the economy via removal of petrol subsidy and unification of foreign exchange.
He added that revolution in agriculture and more than a trillion dollar economy have culminated in the reduction of food prices and increase in the GDP to above 4 percent as well as the growth to over 42 billion dollars in the Nigeria’s foreign reserve.
Governor Baba Gana Umara Zulum was represented at the event by his Deputy Umar Usman Kadafur who says Borno was already in recovery and consolidation phase after more than decade long insurgency experienced by the State through massive infrastructural projects and resettlement of displaced Persons to their ancestral homes.
The Governor said his administration had succeeded in the revitalization of Borno economy through expanded Social intervention programme for Women and Youths, access to farmlands which were hitherto unaccessible to Farmers as well as the grants to SMEs in Borno State.
He said his administration could be able to deliver over one thousand five hundred capital project under his vision of Borno”s 25 Development plan and 10 years strategic transformation initiatives.
