Honoourable Usman Mahdi Badairi has commended Governor Baba Gana Umara Zulum for Peacefull, successfull and rancour free Primary elections across Borno State, describing it as a rare milestone achieved by not every leader. Honoourable Usman Mahdi Badairi has commended Governor Baba Gana Umara Zulum for Peacefull, successfull and rancour free Primary elections across Borno State, describing it as a rare milestone achieved by not every leader.
Alhaji Usman Mahdi Badairi gave the commendation in a statement he personally signed and made available to Newsmen in Maiduguri.
Honoourable Usman Mahdi Badairi who was once a State Chairman under Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Borno State and held numerous positions in the ruling PDP, described All Progressive Congress (APC) as the only Party that will salvage the Masses in Borno State and beyong due to its level playing ground, observance of Democratic ethics and rule of law, as well as its People oriented projects that have been replicated under the administration of Governor Baba Gana Umara Zulum in Borno State.
He attributed the just concluded Party Primaries across Borno State to the Mentorship of the Vice President Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima and extra ordinary leadership qualities of Governor Baba Gana Umara Zulum in steering the affairs of the Party in the State which culminated in one of free and fairest Primary elections in the history of Borno State.
The former State Chairman PDP Borno State applauds the Sportsmanship exhibited by all those who step down that resulted in the Consensus Candidates and those who conceaded defeats and remained loyal to the Party in the few Primaries witnessed in the State.
He noted that the maturity in democratic process of Borno politics cannot be overemphasized and in line with APC's involvement of masses in choosing their leaders which promotes Political participation in the grassroot levels.
Honoourable Usman Mahdi Badairi congratulates Alhaji Mustapha Gubio for his affirmation as a Consensus Candidate for Governor under APC in Borno State. Usman Badairi express optimism that Engineer Mustapha Gubio could follow the footsteps of Governor Baba Gana Umara Zulum and continue with the developmental strides in all sectors.
He equally extends warmest congratulations to Senator Mohammed Tahir Monguno, Senator Kaka Shehu Lawan and Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume for their emergence as Consensus Candidates for the three (3) Senatorial districts of Borno State.
Alhaji Usman Mahdi Badairi also used the medium and share the joys of the victory for all the ten (10) House of Representatives Aspirants and the twenty eight (28) House of Assembly Aspirants across Borno State.
