Two Suspected Vandals Arrested with Stolen High-Tension Cables in Borno
The Borno State Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with the vandalisation of high-tension electrical cables in Gubio Local Government Area of the state. The suspects, Saminu Mohammed, aged 24, and Mohammed Bukar, aged 25, were apprehended in possession of thirteen sacks containing vandalised high-tension cables. The items were reportedly concealed and disguised as animal feed.

The Borno State Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with the vandalisation of high-tension electrical cables in Gubio Local Government Area of the state.
The suspects, Saminu Mohammed, aged 24, and Mohammed Bukar, aged 25, were apprehended in possession of thirteen sacks containing vandalised high-tension cables. The items were reportedly concealed and disguised as animal feed.
In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, Nahum Kenneth Daso, the suspects were said to have been taken into custody while investigations are ongoing to determine the source and intended destination of the cables, after which they will be charged to court.
The Command reiterated its unwavering commitment to safeguarding critical infrastructure and ensuring the safety of lives and property across Borno State.
